The Wintergreen Arts Center (WGAC) is preparing to move into a new location in downtown Presque Isle. We have enjoyed the generosity of the Aroostook Centre Mall over the past two years. It has been a great place for us to begin, and we will miss many of the shop owners and mall staff who have been good neighbors and friends.

Our mall operations are beginning to wind down. Here are some dates to keep in mind:

1) Saturday, Nov. 15th: A magic show by Abracadabra Productions will be held at the Presque Isle Middle School. Doors will open at 12:30 pm and the performance will begin at 1 pm. Tickets are $5 each and are still available at Wilder's Jewelers in downtown Presque Isle. Tickets can be purchased at the door on a first come, first served basis.

2) Saturday, Nov. 15th: There will be no Saturday Open Studio.

3) Saturday, Nov. 22nd: The final Saturday Open Studio and Moving Sale will be from 10 am - 1 pm. Enjoy punch and cookies and learn more about our future plans. Some of our studio equipment, furniture and art supplies will also be for sale. Art supplies make great presents!

4) Saturday, Nov. 29th: Gingerbread house entries and registration for the LIVE competition are due between 10 am and 3 pm. Please visit our website for more information, www.wintergreenarts.org

5) Saturday, Dec. 6th: The 2nd Annual Gingerbread Festival will be held from 10 am - 4 pm at the Aroostook Centre Mall. Don't miss the fun and our last public event at the WGAC until we re-open in our new home!
