Hello from the Wintergreen Arts Center,

You may have noticed that we have a new downtown location at 149 State Street in Presque Isle. Wintergreen was given a ten year lease from Tony and Glenn Burgess-Capp free of charge with the utilities included. We now have beautiful views of the river, natural light, wood floors, and old fashioned tin ceilings. Which means the new Wintergreen is full of exciting potential!

Come see it for yourself during the Presque Isle Memorial Day parade between 9:30 am and 12 pm. If you've been curious about what's been going on inside this is your chance to tour the new location and learn more.

We will be selling and decorating ceramic tiles to adorn our future Children's Art Studio. A donation of $25 or more will place your child's name and artwork permanently among the names of our generous donors. Don't miss this opportunity for your child's artwork to become part of Wintergreen!

In order to renovate the new Art Center, we need to raise $100,000. This money will go toward electrical improvements, a new bathroom, floor and ceiling restoration, lighting, signage, furnishings, and landscaping. Our efforts so far have raised nearly $20,000. Linda and Donald Zillman generously funded our new Poet's Corner with a $5,000 donation. Our board members have been digging deep to donate, and local businesses and individuals are giving generously.

Now it's up to you. We need your donation so that we can re-open and once again be a place for all things creative. We know that times are tough right now, but if each of you provides a part of the effort, great things can happen.
